Platform One Entertainment is looking for ambitious, intelligent college students to represent us at a college level!As a Platform One Campus Rep, you will have direct involvement in marketing both Platform One's artists and brands to your campus. This includes distributing merchandise for Platform One artists and their affiliates both on-campus and at shows, identifying key area venues and lifestyle retailers (skate shops, coffee shops, clothing stores), and working with your school's radio, press, and programming to promote Platform One artists as well as activating creative promotions for Platform One’s brand partners.
The Campus Rep position is ideal for students interested in gaining marketing experience and who have a passion for music and lifestyle brands. As a Campus Rep, you are vital to the presence of Platform One artists, affiliates and brand clients on your campus on a grassroots level, so a solid knowledge of the campus scene and trends is key.
In addition, Campus Reps should be personable, hip to the scene and self-motivated. If you go to a lot of parties, attend shows, love making friends, work hard in school and are interested in the entertainment industry this is a perfect opportunity for you! Applicants must have access to a digital camera and a computer. An active e-mail and mailing address are also necessary.
In the past, Platform One has worked with artists such as Outkast, The Killers, Pensive, Fall Out Boy, System of a Down, The Good Luck Joes, The Strokes, National Product, Lady Sovereign, Gorillaz, Mimi & Teft, 30 Seconds to Mars, Offspring, Ben Harper and more. We’ve also worked with brands such as Puma, Yahoo! Music, Jim Beam, Pump Audio, OurStage, CollegeGear, Onitsuka Tiger and more.
