Somewhere in a musical style between authentic American roots, indie acoustic singer/songwriter and soulful alternative folk is where you¹ll find the remarkably talented Pinstripe 45's. With an arsenal of songs that you would be sure to find playing in your local independent coffee house, Pinstripe 45¹s are poised to win over fans across the Midwest. The deeply personal narrative of the lyrics set to rich, full acoustic melodies sets up Pinstripe 45¹s as one of the best new artists to look out for in 2009.

A self-described "modern traditionalist," Pinstripe 45¹s is the side project of Marshall Hanbury Jr. from the Chicago-based band Absentstar (Canvasback/Columbia Records). Marshall recently opened up for Kings of Leon at their sold out House of Blues show in Chicago, IL and recorded songs for a new EP with Jacquire King in his Nashville studio. King is a multiple Grammy award-winning producer whose credits include Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, Buddy Guy, and Tom Waits.

With all of this momentum, and in support of their current EP "Studies in Timing and Coincidence," Pinstripe 45¹s will be taking their unique and charming sound on a 6-city tour in late April. This Midwestern tour will take the band to Nebraska and Iowa, through Illinois and Indiana before returning home to Chicago for a special hometown performance
